I don't think we had them here but they're from a UK Audio Magazine.

Here is a Hawker Siddeley product you couldn't buy at you local hardware store.
    AV-8-1a.jpg
Some information on Vidor batteries here which went through many owners
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crompton_Parkinson

They were eventually sold to Ray-O-Vac a brand which has since been absorbed into Energizer while Hawker Siddeley got absorbed into BAE Systems.
The USA still has the slightly updated AV8-B jump jet while the U.K. is buying F35s from the Americans.

All the manufacturing history boggles my brain. I was watching an urban explorer show on YouTube last night with some guys going through the remnants of Bristol Cars Inventory a couple years ago.

Going completely off topic, my best school friends father, who owned a tyre company, had a Bristol in the 1970s.
He took me home in it one night and on the mile straight (alongside a main railway line) between their house
and the village where I lived floored it most of the way which was impressive. Unfortunately I never got to go in the
imported Corvette he had before then. As for my friends Mother she drove a Citroen DS23, with Hydro-Pneumatic
suspension and swivelling headlights which I went in twice a week for about four years.

Meanwhile my Father drove a Morris Marina, whose only claim to fame was it was the type of car
Gary Numan had when he wrote "Cars".

You guys had so many neat iconic tiny car manufacturers, we pretty much had the "big three" (plus AMC) by the 70's and they were getting really stale. There's very few 70's USA Cars that are considered collectable today, personally I'd rather have a truck or van from that era beyond some of the sports cars.

The Bristol Find in the video also has some wooden bucks, even today those would be cool display pieces.

I'm going through Italian Electronics Magazines Silver965, some of the projects or reviews look pretty impressive unfortunately I can't read them. I have to guess in a few years they will be translated easily by the internet.

I have google translate which works for me when the site page is opened and I can read you immediately in Italian
which doesn't happen with photos or prints... if the photo has written in English it remains English... and I don't think google can do anything... unless I use the phone apps...
in that case google can make me read from the photo...as you said...in a few months google will update and allow us to do it
