    Indeed a worst buy ever :) I think the seller has lost All pedals.... to me iT has a value of 20/30 €....

    you are right. I didn't pay attention to the melted part. The guy reported this was never opened and i didnt read the rest.
    Not really. I have many broken walkman that i use them for parts but not a melted one :lollegs:.

    I have two or three of these double D battery holders to give you 3 volts and a really long playing time versus using the internal 2 aa batteries

    I don't know anything about the battery holder and I think it went with one of my units, but I hope someone on here got a good deal with some ok players included. I like to get the odd-ball accessory stuff just for future value. I love the timers, reverb, eq's etc and they make the vintage stack look cool. although what they contributed to the sound is debatable...I would have jumped on the DBX and Phase Linear stuff if it was local and three cassette decks would have been a bonus.

    Looks like a good deal to me: Philips D8814 for $168
    Two-three years ago I paid $600 for my Elephant, and was happy as a baby! Oops, I am still happy!! :)
