Well it was a total fluke! I was looking at craigslist UK but it’s such a bad interface, so I picked the biggest cities I could find

The M 6060 tends to show up from time to time but this one does look like it's in rough shape. I can't help but overthink why they would make something like this, the most plausible seems to be that they had extra units left over from the auto industry. This came out when cars started to integrate the radio and it was harder to put in an aftermarket that looked good, Sanyo was a big player in the aftermarket car stereo market and they might have been looking for ways to reconfigure the decks.

I have not been in here for a while as I was searching for something else that brought me here about (Mystic Traveler) but I do have this sanyo beige and blue somewhere in a shape like car stereo like operation, like in the picture above.

Cassette2go, I don't know if you've posted your rare box in the old forum but I'd love to see photos of it posted up in the boombox section

Sony Double Walkman Stereo Cassette Tape Recorder WM-W800 for US $189.99. I have a big collection of WM-W800 and not collecting them anymore otherwise would buy this one.

    PROS:
    seller accepts best offer
WM-W800 in silver and red are hard to find (compare to gray one)
    free shipping

    CONS:
-Owner placed his/her social security or some other number at the bottom of this beautiful walkman that drops the value of this walkman significantly. I am not sure if this can be cleared or blurred. Without this issue this walkman could be an excellent deal. (but seller accepts best offer)
-doesn't work ( it is unlikely to find a WM-W800 in working condition. All of them have some form of problem)

Maybe they are just too heavy to carry on your shoulder? Unless you are Arnie... There is a thread at Boomboxery re the most Bassy bboxes, I think these monsters will trash all other contenders mentioned there!
I was hoping to get one of these for my upcoming birthday, but Boss and kids think they have to upgrade my iPhone 4!
