NOS Aiwa HS-PC202 MkIII from this seller: musitonforu
The best deal for one of the best-looking Walkmans, IMHO.
I already have HS-P202 MkIII and do not use Dolby, ever... but at these prices its a crime Not to buy!
It took me a few months to notice Aiwa thread at tapeheads.net, if you find this info helpful its thanks to our brothers at that sister site :)

If any USA-located brother wants to get one, just post here: I need just one (well, technically speaking I don't but I do not wish to commit a crime of Not buying!) At 100 Euro if u buy 2 or 3 its a sweet deal! I will be getting new belt from @mihokm for mine, and full recap is a must for Aiwas. Can do it for yours for a symbolic price of $0.01 if you donate something for S2G: I need a break from my recent obsession with Yahoo-Japan boomboxes!...

Here's a really old thread from plop, it's hard to believe it's from 2010, time flies but he discusses the merits of the AIWA HS-PC202
    http://www.stereo2go.com/topic/aiwa-hs-pc202.htm
I might be a little bit of an AIWA Snob Jorge but I get a little perturbed with the spelling. I like to refer to pre-Sony AIWA as "AIWA." While Sony did have partial ownership of AIWA going back to the late 60's, they bought controlling ownership around 1992 and immediately changed the name/logo to "aiwa." This is around the time that most of the equipment went from high-end leadership to low-end mass produced crap. I do cry a little when I think of the glory days of AIWA but the good news is Sony had the foresight to change the logo so we all knew to stay away from the dung.

Its not common to see a DD-100 on ebay everyday. This one is on auction now. DD-100 is the 3rd collectible Sony walkman (personal opinion) and it should be in your collection if you love walkman/ portable cassette players.

Can I just say a big thanks to Boodokhan for maintaining this thread? This is a great service and his assessment of each deal is usually 100% spot on.

This isn't as much of a deal but a rare find, while some Fisher Audio Equipment from the late 70's and 80's is pure crap, their cassette players seem to be different with some high quality and interesting items. This Fisher PH-15 Personal Cassette Player might be a neat rare find if it has that higher build quality. I wouldn't have posted it since it seems about $50.00 overpriced but it has a pitch control that I've only seen on dictation style players and not on stereo cassette players. It also looks like a full brushed metal body with separate volume controls and a rear mounted speaker.
