Sony DoDeCaHORN from 1988, known as the Mega Bass in the USA. I've to the CFS-DW60 and it's a heavy one. It has the small Walkman Style Buttons on the top and has a real quality feel. I don't know if many others made it over here but definately a keeper if you find one. The only downside is the paper baffle over the speakers falls apart and that has the "DW60" printed on it.

A beautiful ITT from 1977, Klangbild. I wanted to post and translate later to see how these rarer brands stacked up.

Found over on X. Yea they can talk trash about cassettes and boomboxes but just about every 70's-80's iconic bands used them for some big records.

It tends to get thrown in with boomboxes even though it's more of a micro-stereo, so let's post it! The multi-baffled speakers ended up on some top-end eggs from the 90's but seem to have disappeared, anybody know what happened?

RAM Magazine 1987, The Sharp Twin Cam is a fascinating double deck, most are pretty nice but they did have some entry-level models.

1972 Popular Mechanics, in the early days of portable recorders, the Parabola was a popular option for magnifying far off sounds. Back then we loved recording everything but many people took up recording birds or other animals.
