Always one to jump on a Bandwagon (except famously the Ipod) a picture of an Amstrad from our old site.

and a better one from elsewhere

I'm sure there must be AKAs of this outside the UK.

Amstrad 8090 - speakers remind me those of JVC PC-5.

Don't forget the truly horrific York BP-1000. Actually a triple deck. You can almost hear that quality.

Yes, Sir. .:) Both are great in their class/size.. :nodding:
And luckily PC-100s don't suffer from rotting foams.

Love this deep dark red colour..
Photo of mine when it was back in Japan then.

    Yep, that's a Сатурн (Saturn) 401C (S), circa 1988.

I bought one of these a couple years ago, mine's out in the stacks so I lifted this photo from a sold auction listing, I wish I had seen this one, these are very cool units and this one was in great condition, General Electric 4CM3326X The stereo microcassette player fits in the opening but there's no photos showing that view. Commonly thought to be made by Sanyo.

Yes! wow, with the box, those are very nice. Is that unit blue?, they are really well built and not half as cheesy as they could be, I think the GE name was really taking a hit then, maybe too much crap for the good stuff (Sharp) to shine....

I took these pics from another site but I (shamefully) admit to owing this piece of garbage. If you want to assault your ears...look no further than this.
