Hitachi trk w 1 and trk W2 I have. I think five of these collectively together the W-2 is better than the W1 in my opinion, I need to finish repairing these.

    I finally bought one.
National Panasonic RX-F80A (A for Australia maybe, is it?)

Just unpacked it, looks in great condition apart from the plastic very slightly yellowed.

I've had a search on ebay, gumtree and Facebook marketplace for ages. One turned up but it was a scam. Years later this popped up. I am guessing hardly any were sold in Australia. It is a 240volt model so not a US or Japan import.

I want to show you DYNASTAR BP1000. This is the same model as YORX BP1000 and Schneider BP1000. It was made in Turkey in 1986. It has two 6W 4 Ohm speakers. It does not have AUX but you can connect your Bluetooth device by using its walkman input.

Love the way the doors open. I haven’t seen it that way before.

Yes, unlike most models the cassette is used in a vertical position.

A Russian Entry, the Duets, I kind of dig the controls on top of the speakers. Check out the connections, there's just a power and headphone jack, I'm surprised nobody else did it like that.

These were pretty expensive when new. That was around aud$650!

Do you have high resolution scans of these kangaroo f80 adverts?

Wow, big money, we didn't (and still don't) have Russian Products over here.

I think the ads were from Pinterest.jp, I usually cut and paste from my large screen, there might be larger versions on there with better resolution.

We've talked about the GE Roadshow, there might be more information in the stereo microcassette thread, I don't remember if this has been brought up here. I think Sears also had an AKA Roadshow (Sanyo) but they also had this little cutie, slightly different with oval speakers. I saw one once for cheap on ebay but didn't buy it, they seem to be fairly rare.
