EMI from 1975, I'm not sure how Victor/EMI/Columbia all tie together......

It's a very odd contest, those boats are inexpensive now but I bet they were more costly back then.

The good ole days when everyone was competing against one another for a slice of the pie. They still are but things are not the same, those promotions were cool. Even gas stations were giving away promotions, in my area in northeastern US it would be Philadelphia Phillies and New York Yankees 8 x 11 picture cards that you could put on your wall. Other places had a set of glasses that you could earn. Sinclair gas stations had a dinosaur AM radio, I wish I still had mine because at one time it was pretty cool. Probably made in Japan.

Now I'm trying to remember the gas station give away for kids, one of them had something like a Matchbox Car? Then there were the cool stickers like STP.

Searching Google I found this. I don’t necessarily remember them, but it’s starting to jog my memory a little bit.

Wow, those are really nicely done, I think I would have put the gas station with my Tyco Train Set but it looks Lionel Size?

That gas pump is really cool, never seen one before.

When I got my Sony CFS-99 it had a "76" Orange Foam Ball on one antenna, anybody remember these? I guess they were for advertising and making sure you didn't poke your eyeball out.

I think this is a first, Goldring from 1972! Nice looking packaging from back then.
