When I saw the hair on the one guy in this ad, I originally thought of Randy Bachman from BTO. at least that’s who I believe I’m thinking of.

not that I have a huge amount of experience with different tapes, but these super chromes are amongst my favorite. When you get the bias and level right on one of these tapes it really rivals any metal tape that I’ve heard.

compared to what’s available today, we really could not go wrong even with the end of the era fake chrome tapes.

I have a couple of those still sealed for a rainy day.

I asked my daughter yesterday what she thought those tape smelled like, since we just got done coloring, or she did I figured it would be appropriate timing.

she didn’t pick up on it but when I told her that that’s all she wanted to do was smell the tape ROFL!

daddy daughter moments that you will never forget thank God.

I have very very few BASF Tapes, I just never see them around here and I was always getting Maxell UDXL II's as a kid.

One of my customers headed 3M's Cassette Tape Manufacturing and he said they considered BASF as the baseline for tapes and their manufacturing.

I understand, and I’m a big Maxell fan myself. Everybody online always talked about the BASF pure chrome is being difficult to record on, so I basically got about 10 of them to see if my A&D deck Could record them well. They do sound very good, but nothing that I don’t think a good Maxell XL II can’t compete with.
