Maxell UDXL I and II from 1979

 

I've got a few head demagnetizers, they really cool looking when they have the clear shells, I'm not sure of how well they worked but the car audio guys used to use these more with the limited access to the decks.
From 1979 the TDK HD-01 Head Demagnetizer and the SA Series of Tapes.

 

An article on metal tapes from 1979, I love the photo of the Nakamichi ZX C-15 Tape. Anybody know what C-15 was meant for, maybe a promo? When I was a young collector and Ebay was new, the Nakamichi Tapes were going for $75.00, a huge sum, but they were very rare, to this day I've never seen one in my hand.
