They did age very well and the computer graphics look neat, Kenwood had the Diablo that looked similar but it was just a cassette deck and amp.

For the tech nerds amoung us, I'm not familar with Sound Technology but they did have a Tape Test Set Tool from 1979, this is the first one I've seen without traditional audio style needle meters.
