hi i am new to this site and i would like to ask for help from someone more experienced than me i have crown csc-850 that stops searching for stations on the left side!
Opening the radio, if I pull with my fingers, the white wire unlocks and goes well to the right, but if they go back to the left it stops again.
Thanks in advance to those who want to help me.

Welcome to the forum. I'd post your question down in the boombox tech section for more views.

Take a lot of photos of the cord layout when you have the box open just so you don't forget how it's strung. The dial pointer is usually held on the string with tension and can be moved, be careful, you can move it too far and it takes awhile to get it into the right position. Find a station where you know the number (ie 92.5 FM), and try to get that one fixed in so it matches the dial.

It might take an hour or so to get it right, just try to be careful with the little parts and springs.

thank you very much it is definitely out of phase but my fear is that the cotton cord is fixed to the pointer with two points of glue then I send the photos.

On some radios people try to go one direction and it pushes the pointer until it doesn't match the dial setting. Do not mess with the glue or pointer, it needs to be restrung which can take a long time to get everything correct. Take photos of how the string is wrapped around the pulleys then figure out a way to release the tension and pull it over. I'd mark the string in spots that don't get exposed on the dial so you know how far to move it.

There should be more information on the internet, most of these dials are very similar on every brand.

You have to watch all of the pulleys and try to figure out why it won't turn. Maybe a pulley needs a little lube or the string has a flat spot on it. Sometimes the tension spring loses tension and doesn't pull on one of the pulleys enough. I've fixed all of mine but the issue only comes up every few years and it's always something a little different so I'm just going by memory.
