Did Sears accidently release one of the most bad-*ss super-rare boomboxes of the 70's

    Anybody seen the Sears Com/Trek 22880 before? I know some of our German Friends are saying yea it looks like an ITT, maybe even a Grundig, but this one is different and possible illegal for use in the USA and UK.

    These are some of the first photos of this model on the internet, I did a short search through Sears Catalogs and haven't found it yet, close models to it date around 1977.

    Those square chrome cassette buttons look very Sanyo ish.
