@CDV 's comments about older bands made me think of this Whether anyone will enjoy it is a different matter. The funny thing is that one of the girls is 50 now. If they had had a couple more hits they would have been an ideal early act for Lets Rock p.s. The comments on Youtube are rather amusing.
The Stones were everywhere in the 70's and kept kicking hard in the 80's with Some Girls, Emotional Rescue and Tattoo You, I miss those old day when you'd buy an album or tape, sit down and listen to the whole thing, usually with a friend or two. I think the first album I ever bought was Miss You (extended disco version), I'll have to go through the boxes and pull that out tonight.
Let's do a two-fer, this is not on YouTube for some reason, it took me forever to find it, I knew they had a video for this rocker!
Jon Astley, Jane's Getting Serious.... I was surprised that Eric Clapton played guitar on this one, never heard that before.
I had never heard this until Gary Davis played it on Sounds of the 80s last night IMHO one of Tina's finest. What were they thinking making it a B Side ? Aswad took a Reggae version of the same song to Number One in the U.K. two years later and most people here probably think that is the original.
