Description: Selling an original SHARP GF-800Z in very good cosmetic and working condition. I am the first and original owner of this unit. Please note that the GF-800Z model differs significantly from the base GF-800 model. It features a twice-as-powerful amplifier utilizing two separate Mitsubishi chips (SIP-12 package). Each chip operates in bridge mode (one for the left channel, one for the right channel), delivering a high output power of 2x13 Watts instead of the standard 2x8.5 Watts. Recent Service & Current Condition: The unit has recently undergone maintenance – all potentiometers have been cleaned, the cassette mechanism has been serviced, and the belts have been replaced. The cassette deck and the amplifier section work flawlessly. It comes with a special custom cable to connect external modern sources to the AUX/PHONO input (such as a digital tuner, DVD/CD/MP3 player with USB input, Bluetooth receiver, etc.). Known Issues (Please Read Carefully): The Radio: The radio section was working perfectly and picking up stations normally with its original antenna prior to the service. However, after the reassembly by the technician, the radio no longer turns on. The exact cause has not been diagnosed yet, as the technician was unable to open the unit a second time due to personal constraints. Power Switch: The main ON/OFF switch was slightly burnt/corroded and has been desoldered to be repaired or replaced with a similar one. Currently, the unit turns on and off directly by plugging/unplugging the power cord. What's Included & Price: The boombox sells in its current described condition. Bonus: I am including the original service manuals/schematics, which are extremely rare and difficult to find specifically for the 800Z variant.
