    Cleaning out my mother-in-law’s home I found a Walkman, WM-FX290W in great condition. It is small and also has AM/FM and Weather Band capability.

    Im looking for a collector who may be interested in purchasing this device.

    Welcome to the forum Krista, feel free to post the unit in the classified thread. Seller/Buyer beware, it's based on the Trust System.

    I hate to break it to you but this model only has limited appeal so don't expect big dollars. Supposedly it's the last cassette "Walkman" made but it has generic looks and mid-level features. I've been wrong and I'm no expert on later Walkmans, you might get lucky.

    In the old days I had my heart broken on some of my finds, 20 years ago most of this stuff was tossed or given away, now even my low-end units are getting money.
