I love the oddball units, this is kind of tame but still a favorite of mine. I recently posted one for sale in the mega-sale thread, they do come up for sale but only every few years. I'll take square bricks anyday and this is a later "brick" style. Most members might be familar with the version that has a carry-case to turn this into a mini-boombox, oddly this brochure doesn't show the case. The ebay photo shows the case, it still might be for sale, I didn't check. I've never seen the red version before, the black is rare enough and maybe the only version shipped to the USA. What I didn't really think about is this unit has a built in speaker! making it more boombox than portable. JDM branding has "TRIO" on it and the USA Version only has Kenwood Branding.
