Welcome to Stereo2go Michel Toussaint I am sure you meant to say Hi guys The cassettes will be worth more to a collector, for me it's only worth something once i unwrap and use it.
Nice box, I like it! Never seen it before. Those years were hilarious, every tape manufacturer offered 8 to 12 levels of quality, when only 3-4 would suffice. The vast majority of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It's funny how even the cheapest tape in that box claims to be "Dynamic", with "Low Noise" and "High Output" And the next-cheapest tape adds the word "Super" Low Noise, and I guess people were supposed to say to themselves "Oh ok, I'll go ahead and fork over more money for this one because it has the word "Super", which must prove it's better than the first one"
Welcome to the forum! That looks like a salesman or store sample box and probably pretty rare. Guys like Kent have amazing collections of similar stuff, personally I think any marketing or display stuff should stay intact for future generations to see. Pricing is impossible to determine, I've never seen anything similar come up for sale before. Feel free to post the photos in the cassette section, they would get a lot more views and it is a neat piece of history.
