I'm a brand new member over here. I own only a few portable cassette players. Those are a Sony WM-FX475, WM-EX170, and a TCS-430. I just finished repairing my FX475 after the belt slipped, but I kind of ruined its auto-reverse feature. The auto-reverse doesn't work automatically anymore, and at the end of each side of the tape, it just stops, so I have to flip the switch manually. I'm perfectly fine with that, though. However, another thing I broke which I'm not fine with at all is the hinge thing for the cassette door cover. I have to use a piece of Scotch tape on the side to keep it secured, and it's a real bummer. How do I fix it?

Welcome vitangcool! Please post photos in the tech section so we can see what's wrong with your hinge.
