    Hi

My name is Brian. I live in northeast Ohio.

It is fantastic to know that there are individuals who value and support the restoration of these fine units.

I’ve enjoyed magnetic tape ever since my Dad brought home a (no name) 6” mono reel to reel when I was maybe 10, circa 1960s. Fast forward and I’m 30 something and using my Sony WM 10 running and to keep me company on overtime. The overtime continued and I bought a Sony TCD D3. Recently, I came across both units and want to get them working again.

I have experience with electronics repair

But, nothing beats the specialized experience of someone who has actually fixed one. And there is the issue of parts…

Sorry for going on so long

    Thanks Mister X
70s 80s and 90s had some pretty good tunes
There is a Disco tribute band that makes its way around the area here, and I’m not ashamed to say they are fun to reminisce with

I love disco but outside of the big bands/hits, it get pretty repetitive which was the complaint after it had been around for a couple years. Luckily the "Disco Sucks" era pretty much gave every new genre wheels and we were blessed with new wave, alternative, punk, heavy metal and much more.
