Hi all, new member here. I'm quite fond of cassettes and other analog media formats. I recently acquired a decent but non functioning wm-30 that I'll be posting another thread about. I also just acquired an ex651 that works but needs some maintenance.

I've also got a couple plastic Sony models that I've had for a few decades and also need work- an sxf10, and a TCM 20dv that I'd like to get working.

I like to mess around with all kinds of tape stuff. I mainly refurbish Tascam Portastudios. I have a few reel to reel machines, cassette decks, hi-8 camcorder that I still use, and probably some more stuff I'm not remembering at the moment. I'm looking forward to reading some more interesting threads on here, seeing some beautiful walkmans, and fixing up mine.

Welcome to the forum! I love the Tascam/Teac Semi-Pro Equipment, I don't think I've posted any of mine yet. Do you have experience with recording studios or bands?

I don't have any professional recording studio experience, just home recording. I'd love to see some Teac/Tascam stuff on here!

My record shop buddy told me the Portastudio's are hot now, I've got something like the 244 along with a DAT and Hi8 Recorder and some R2Rs. I recently got them in my new rack but haven't had time to fire them up yet.
