Hallo! My wife and I are ejecting from America to The Netherlands in October and are in the midst of packing - but prioritizing what to bring is hard. Obviously not bringing stereo gear that requires 110v 60hz, but portable oddities like a WM-D6 or or a portable MD etc is a no-brainer.

I've been buying old Walkmans that merely need belts, cleaning them up and adjusting speed and azimuth and giving them away with compilation tapes made on my Revox B215 - fun and always appreciated. Today I scored a WM-D6 from a local seller, so I'm upping my own game as this one's a keeper though it has issues. This forum seems the best place to chat about it, thus my newly minted membership here. Cheers!

I used to drink La Chouffe, Triple Karmeliet and a few others from that part of the world like a fish but those times are gone. So I put on a little David Sanborn and a La Chouffe would be perfect now after a hard day of digging ditches.

Great part of the world, we have had many members from over there with very impressive collections, Walkgirl, who stills shows up every few years, exposed me to the wonderful world of stereo microcassette players years ago, she and mrp32Dave had a bunch of the cool little player I'd never seen before.

Hopefully the ReVox made the cut, I'd be lost without some of my gear.
