Just joined to ask a few q's about the WM-D6, have let go all my other interesting bits and bobs over time. (Having your stuff in storage and then the storage warehouse burning down is also a good way to slim your collection) Don't have room to keep much anymore, although I might be tempted by a Minidisc sometime.
Welcome to the forum, sorry for the late reply I just saw this. Sorry to hear about the fire, that would kill me. MiniDisc is a very fun format, I'm moving my big players to my new huge stereo rack.
