Hi everyone, I am always on the lookout for vintage Walkman gems, with a particular soft spot for models from Sony and Aiwa. Currently, my collection includes the Sony WM-D6C, the Aiwa HS-P05 Mk II, the Aiwa HS-JX505, and the Aiwa HS-JX2000. However, the HS-JX2000 is in desperate need of a proper restoration. While the device does technically work, the sound output is very thin. I am quite certain that one or more electrolytic capacitors (caps) are completely shot and dead. If anyone can point me in the right direction or recommend a specialist who can professionally recap, service, and fully update my HS-JX2000, I would truly appreciate your help.
