Hey all, I got a walkman about a year ago, its the sony tcm-23v/24v. When I got it originally it was fixed up and sounded well, but I'd say in like 3 months with occassional use it started making a crackling sound that got worse and worse, and then it stopped playing entirely. I opened it up to check the problem, couldn't see anything, put it back together and it played, but still made a crackling noise. The noise follows the volume I have it set at. But now I tried cleaning it to help with the problem but the audio is slowed and distorted, and makes a squeaking sound. I have no idea what to do to fix it.
