@ebuy05, this is a quality repair. Congrats with the great CD player!

What's up with the Monkey Island CD? Can this CD player be used as a data CD drive?

Thank you! The last 2 weeks were really busy and I was finally able to fix the link. Thanks for catching that :)

Thank you for sharing your wisdom, Jorge. I couldn't have fixed without your post!
Congrats on your DCP-70! Looking forward to hear how it compares with the D-555 :)

Thank you! The Monkey Island PC CD-ROM game has only the 1st track recorded as data. All other tracks are the game soundtrack which was recorded as regular audio CD tracks that can be played on any CD-player. It is a great soundtrack by the way and sounds fantastic on the D-555 :)

Hi ebuy05, nice job on your player! I was also intrigued by your 3D battery adaptor and wonder if such an adaptor has come up for sale anywhere, to your knowledge? I bought the Li-ion replacement battery from Kaosun and have been pleased with that for my 555, but I would like to try your solution as well to be able to charge it in a separate charger.

Hello Jorn, I've never seen these adapters for sale but if at least here in North America there are a few 3D printing services you just send them the 3D file and they will print it for you for a fair fee. PM me if I can be of any help. Cheers!
