    Blaupunkt from 1983, beautiful! You could always tell a car with a Blaupunkt, they had the gooseneck control panel, this one is special with analog VU meters!

    aiwa NSX-400 from 1994, this looks interesting wiht MiniMax Home Theater Sound! 30 watts per channel sounds believeable but this is right when most of these units were filled with air.

    The trick that many of these lightweight units did was to have a thermally controlled fan cooling the amplifier. If you have the system cranked up you shouldn't hear the sound of it. Until the bearing wears out.

    Although I can't see a fan in this video there are some pretty good shots of the inside of a 90s Aiwa stereo towards the end of it.

    These Aiwas with the three disc changer at the top were very popular. I knew two ladies who had them, although my girlfriend had larger Sony system with a rotating CD changer at the bottom that took five CDs.
