I was always hoping to find a small JVC back when I used to see a ton of micro-stereos but I never saw the UX-1, mostly fake wood and cheap controls.

Marantz Superscope bought Standard Radio around 1974, I had no idea they produced car stereos but must have helped when marantz released the CAR-Series in the late 70's

This is interesting, it looks like it takes one of many "cartridges" I'd love to see the complete system, from National the CX-811.
