Mini Stereos and Cool Car Compo Ads

While not a mini-stereo, the Braun Atelier continues Braun's dominance of design, from 1982. These seem to be found worldwide, anybody know who built them?

 

Aurex from 1982, I'd love to have one of these, I have a feeling it's much nicer than the crappy stacks that followed it.

 

Denon 1991, getting ready to take over the mini-stereo world, I think they're the last one still standing?

 

AKAI UC-5 from 1982, wow, what an impressive mini! Now I know what the speakers look like.

 

Mitsubishi System 4 from 1981, I'd love to see one of these, 50 watts a channel, the amp looks like a monster.

 

I've got some little ADS Braun Speakers, they sound really good plus they have a full metal perforated grill.

 

Now this is a car compo! Holy big money back then, I don't remember Hitachi being a big player in the USA back then.

Sansui Home Audio Products got plasticy in the early 80's but they had some really nice looking car stereos, I've seen parts of this come up for sale but you'd be looking a long time for a full set. Sorry about the quality, found on Pinterest.

A real beauty from National Panasonic, I fear a lot of these went down with the cars. This would have made a bitchin front for a boombox.
