I think these are mini components but I've never seen one in person, Quad 33 from 1974

I've never thought of them as that but I suppose they could be called that.

I'm sure they didn't have a "mini" price when new.

Your link wouldn't pop up for me, here's another

I'm going to give them a thumbs up, I think they were trying to be a mini-stereo when everyone else was going monster, they're larger than the Harman Kardon, especially if you could see the monster transformer (a seperate unit that must be hidden), but they come across as compact.

Alex Chernyak has been posting a ton of cool German Brochures on archive.org including the 1979 UHER Catalog, here's the portion with the beautiful UHER HiFi-Totale. I love the industrial look, they look like they were for a battleship. Here's a link to the full huge catalog, he's got a ton more cool stuff to browse through.

From a Japanese Magazine on archive.org, the Pioneer S70 from 1991. It looks a lot like the other systems that came out at this time, I love how the speakers can lay horizontal and the height matches the components. There's no pricing but it looke like it could be pretty substantial. We need Techmoan to get one of these!

Technics D5000, big money for this system, I wonder what the "Digital Link" is? This looks like it also has DAT and what is "BS?" from 1988 this also has Star Wars Co-Branding!

Hopefully we don't lose everything, I don't have any high level administrator privileges, I don't know why it goes down...

Check out this awesome Fujitsu 10 from 1981!

These Sansui J33 Speakers look like they were meant for micro-stereos from 1978. I was pretty young back then but these might be one of the first "piano-black" speakers, I've got some old Technics Phase Linears in black but it's more of a stain.

Sony Pro Pixy MHC-J1000EX from 1993, check out the pricing! It's kind of artsy-cool with all of the rounded features.

Another for the Sony pixy, this looks a little older than the model above.

These are the kind of ads I love finding, from December 1980 Playboy, the Marantz Compo, I've never seen those speakers before and Superscope is the owner, interesting.......

Audiovox seemed to only be in department stores, who knows, maybe they had some decent equipment but I never saw it, from 1980. 50 watts with that little EQ?
