Hey there, a newbie to boomboxes. In love with my JVC X-200. I have a second one I found in a thrift shop. I have a JVC X-300 as well but it's not as good as the lower model in terms of bass and build quality. I have a Telefunken CR8200 that's missing it's battery door (more on that later) and a JVC PC-M70 that's in for service. I'm a long-time collector of other items and am trying to follow the quality over quantity philosophy. When i had a much bigger house i collected component tape decks. The best i had was a Nakamichi 1000, followed quickly behind by the Nakamichi 700. Sounded like playing vinyl with much better base. See you around! Jim
