it‘s a 60‘es solid wood and carpenter made piece of sound-furniture in my office, equipped with the visible Thorens 124 and a the Fisher X-100-A tube amp - sounds awesome with my Cabasse Sampan !
got this in my new office: as you can see, the office isn't fully ready yet but at least the hifi is set up (...you must allways set priorities ). the amp is (as mentioned above) a "the Fisher" X-100-A tube amp, the tt a Thorens 124 Mk I, speakers are french Cabasse Sampan (i love Cabasse- sound, not to heavy)

My Sound Burger is out again as I check out some LP bought at charity shops recently. This one dates from 1971. More interesting than 80s tracks I already have on CD/ It is shocking to realise that young lady on the cover will be about 70 now. I'm sure the LP and cover have aged better than her. Some interesting information about Music for Pleasure on the inner sleeve. That EMI sub-brand was selling as many records a year as all the vinyl sold in the U.K. in 2021. They used to sell these in the local supermarket despite it being so small it is classified as a convenience store these days. They had one of those revolving racks, holding I would guess about 80 LPs, all priced at £1 each. Inflation adjusted about £11, although last week I only paid £1 each for three LPs.
