yep, still have the nak (rx-505). i had considered selling it as i rarely listen to tapes (and if, i prefer the sony tc-d5), but i remembered, that it‘s now more than 25 years with me, so it‘s a fooking keeper. i had it for a complete service with one of the last real nak-specialists in germany, had new heads (!), all belts, idler etc. mounted plu a complete calibration. now it‘s a perfect dust-collector - stored away as we‘re renovating the house…
nope, an old original, made 1965 in Switzerland (Zürich). there‘s the Thorens 124 MK1 and a TheFisher X100-A tubeamp. there was at some stage also some tuner in a drawer on the left, as well as a reel-to-reel (i guess ReVoX G36) but the drawer was empty when i got the cabinet. it‘s in my office, i use it with a pair of 1972 Cabasse Sampan speaker.
Yes a classic Acid House / Techno track, this track is special to me as i use to play the 80’s arcade game they sampled the track from. autoreverser not sure if you had the game in Germany, if you did can you name it? If not I’ll name it for you next.
