Playing Blade Runner LP, as I went to see Blade Runner Live last night at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
A live orchestra played the score along with the film, it was magical to see and hear.

very nice turntable, is that a VPI?

what cartridge are you running on it?

 

overlymodulated, the turntable is Acoustic Solid One to One. The cartridge is EMT JSD S 75.

I downsized… a lot! I kept two turntables, a Denon DP 47F, and that one is all redone, upgraded caps, from the Japanese market. Running a Shure V15 V with An original MR stylus, And sometimes an SAS from Jico. I think they sound very similar.

I also kept a B&O 8002 with a low hour MMC2 cart. This one is all rebuilt also, but I’m having a problem with it and it’s probably a solder joint or a cracked board. Not too worried about it right now. I kept a Marantz 2385 all rebuilt, and I purchased a pair of Klipsch Forte speakers in very good condition. Also a cassette deck and of course my Walkman. It feels good to be downsized lol.
