Some more Panasonic Radios from 1972, price is USD, everyone had the ball and chain radio, for some reason I never saw many Toot-a-Loops

 

From 1983, USD, yep tapes were expensive, I guess the big question is which Walkman would you choose? There's only $10 difference.

 

A very early Sony TC-244 Boombox from 1974? or is it, there's no mention of AM/FM, anybody have one of these? I can't find any photos on the internet of it......

 

Conion CR-P40 from 1975, while not a boombox, it's a pretty cool looking portable radio, much better looking than most available at the time.

 

Technics CO5 from 1983, this is another big-money full-page newspaper ad.

National Panasonic from 1982, I just got an RX-1950, I love the styling of these clunky models but I had no idea this was one of their top models. They are nicely put together and look great but one of it's competition, the AIWA HS-J02, is slightly smaller and has Auto Reverse, I wonder who one that sales battle.
