Some more from 1983 including a rare sighting of the Sanyo W6060. It's odd this lasted until 1983, I don't know when it was released but it seems much older. Good luck finding Technics Headphones, I've never seen them.

This was a huge 1/2 page ad from 1982. Lots of interesting Unisef Models on here including the TU-1 Clone.

Sony TE-ST5 from 1984, they used to have late night TV ads for cheap versions of this, I had no idea Sony made one.

Change the search terms and a ton come up, Fair Mate by itself is really hard to search by.

National Panasonic SG-660D portable turntable from 1970. For some reason a lot of the portable turntables are really nice looking, if you dig this kind of thing check out some of the collections on various websites, bright colors, neat designs but usually a basic tone arm.

Benytone from 1972, you know I love the suitcase models, this looks pretty nice and your friends would have loved getting that taped cassette. It looks like there's some early boomboxes but the copy is hard to read.

Found this beauty by accident, the Quasar XP1239QE from 1978. It says digital counter, I wonder how that works?

Why did they have so many different tape decks? That would make a cool YouTube Video if you had all of these models and talked about the differences. In the USA we only saw the front right two, the basic model was the one all of the families had and the one to the right is similar to what businesses had on office desks. The others, who knows what they did with them....

Hitachi didn't advertise many of their radio cassettes but I just found another from 1981. If I didn't know the date I would have guessed around 78, the other manufacturers had similar models much earlier.
