I'd probably walk by most of these if I saw them today, from 1991, USD.

Some awesome AIWA's from 1976, both of the early TPRs are very small but they weigh a ton!

Are these images from microfilm? Is that why they're so dark?

Don't get me wrong, most of them are good, but a couple have small white text on black backgrounds that seems to have become smudgy

Some of these I have to do screen shots which might mess with the resolution if they're not 100%, microfilm was never good quality and some sites just post low res, maybe to save drive space?

Rather sad that most of these shops like Lasky's and Comet have gone. What used to be Comet here is now "Family Bargains" selling things like solar lights. If they sell any audio stuff it will be a £20 Akai branded radio that has nothing to do with the real Akai.
Just up the road from work is a big place that opened as Tempo, trying to rival Comet. Now it is a kitchen showroom. Illustrating the problem, work itself (before I moved there) used to be a Philips factory, with staff discounts on Philips gear like CD players and TVs.

The 8 bit guy did a video about the same thing happening in the USA
