T-Ster, Very Well Said Man, Proper nice thing to say.. Thanks for that..
When Reno rang me, we'd just shít talk for hours about radios, and life. because we both suffered with, and was both on medication for depression, so those phone calls kept us both going. but i was speaking on the phone to Nick Eccles last week, and i admitted to him that while i was on the forums, i would distance myself from Reno because i knew/thought everyone despised him, so not to black ball myself i deliberately would avoid showing the we was mates, even Nick said he noticed that i never spoke to Reno on the forum but would talk every day on the phone, but now he's gone i think to myself, what i did was cowardly..

i still keep expecting my phone is going to ring, and when i see things on ebay, i still find myself saying "i'll tell Reno about that later when he rings me" but then it hits me that it's never going to happen.. but one thing i can say is, the week he was sick, i did tell him to go and see a doctor, but he wouldn't do it, so i did try. i even told him many times over the years that i'd go and clean his flat and paint it and organise his radios so they were neat, but we just lived to far away.. he called me on the 4th July for the last time, and i'm convinced he knew he was going, he never rang me again, and if you look at his profile, that was the last time he logged in on here. so he must have gone that day.. sad that he's gone, he was my mate, and it's effected my life..

I have more but another day... Rah would of loved this, everyone looking at his stack of boomers and remembering him.

Paul, you are not responsible for another mans actions and you did a great thing for him, being a person he could chat to and listening to him, even if it wasn't always easy you stuck by him. That's friendship, you owe him no more than that. You have to let him rest easy now, he wouldn't if he knew you were fretting about what you did or didn't do. He appreciated you for who you are, it sounds like you were one of his last calls.......

Floyd, I remember seeing a shadowy picture of you back in the day, just a silhouette, still got them traps/delts I see :)

You both were a source of friendship for him and he was very grateful so you can both smile and remember him in good faith.

Thank you for posting up this history.
He was a top tier collector and a great friend . it's hard for me to get the miserable look off my face but I try . I crank the boombox and drink whiskey and think about the good times. At least now we can see what some of our friends look like.

Sad to think that More than Likely most of those radios are at the tip/dump/landfill now because i haven't seen any of it go up for sale any where. what a waste. what a shame.
