Found in the forum reader, Retro posted this catalog from 1980, 10 years ago! I only have two models from this catalog including the V8, while it looks like shiny plastic junk, they are actually pretty high quality and the shiny sheen is enduring while almost every other box around this time is matt finish.
    Thanks Retro!

We've been told that Sanyo made early Craig equipment so here's some cassettes from 1971.

MX720, M9994, and the Big Ben are some of my favorite sounding boxes. The only "overrated" one is the MX920, in my opinion. That one sounds weak for its size and weight.

For a kid with no money and a habit of breaking players, the Sportster Line was my goto back in the 80's! from 1983

Yea, most of the budget players all had the same style cheapo headphones, you could get replacements for a few dollars. I've got a big box of the headphones but nothing is spectacular. With years of finding cool Walkmans and boomboxes locally, I never found a high-end Walkman Headphone Set. Maybe owners thought the headphones still had value but they were never going to use their tape players again?

Some classic mini Sanyo's from 1983, the little guy in the violin case is new to me, I'll have to find one of those beauties.

Fisher SG-300 from 1984, these are much larger than the photo looks, maybe 30" wide?

Sanyo from 1988, a big two page ad! This is for the Surround Sound Series, the shown model looks very nice with a remote! Anybody have one of these?

Sanyo 85-P25A from 1964, this must have been a big radio for them, it's from an international trade guide and features the early beginnings of Eneloop Batteries!

A more modern looking version of the suitcase boombox unfortunately there's no model number. Anybody know which one this is? I kind of like it! From 1977

Sanyo C-7 from 1982, these are nice and heavy duty. Yamaha also had it's AKA Version. The bottom box is a large battery compartment.
