Sears SR 2198 (SR 2100 series)

    Sorry to resurrect such an old thread but does anyone have the service manual for the Sears SR 2198 or the Realistic Modulaire 1000 (catalogue number 14-773)? Both are the same machine.

    Good luck, I don't think I've ever seen a Sears or Realistic Service Manual, even checking ebay, there is none for the "SR" Series.

    Here's Sears Craftman's Manufacturing Guide, some of the boombox manufacturers are missing! It's the first three numbers of the model.

    Sears model number 560.21990350 That number is on the rear or back of the model.
    On the front it says Sr. 2100 series

    And on the back

    So is this top of the line because it's a 2199 model?
    This takes 8D batteries and has a separate RCA for the phono as well as line in and line out.
