Hey everyone! I recently received a WM-F77 and got it working!

The only thing that's bothering me is the audio volume. Even on 4, its EXTREMELY loud. The volume wheel is also really easy to hit, which makes the listening experience on the go pretty finicky. I've also been recording mixtapes at -10dB on my Sony TC-WR445 to try to alleviate the issue, but it's still way too loud. My cassettes play at good volumes on my Aiwa HS-JS415 just fine.

Is the WM-F77 just that loud? There is a constant hiss at all volumes which I assume is the effect of the capacitors going bad, but would that affect the volume output?

    Any insight would be appreciated!
