Here's a cool one from 1978, the CRS-4000 must have had a list price of $299.95? They talk about the component portable cassette player, the CD-330, those are really nice, lot's of heavy plastic with a military-look to them.

Superscope Ad from Mart Magazine (for retailers) from 1975, part of the ad states they own their own factories! I bet part of this also has to do with the Sony Tape Products Distribution Rights for North America, they didn't want any confusion.

Trouble with the Imperial Line from May 1979 MART Magazine. I think there was at least one radio-only boombox from Imperial?

 

Here's a wild ad! From 1979, yep those were scary times, we might be heading that direction again, the world economic and governmental parallels are amazingly similar. Unfortunately for marantz it didn't go well, Philips moved in with their own vision.

 

Marantz gets into the car stereo market 1978 but these are not car stereos, they are an audio line!

Some more Rolling Thunder! From 1979, I'm not sure why they didn't make the amp the same size as the EQ?

 

Superscope made CB Radios for a brief time in the 70's, it must have been a dud, there's not much info on them, maybe in the CB mags. Here's an ad from 1978 in USD, this is out of a retailer's newpaper, the prices might be wholesale.

I originally thought the knobs on my little one were replacements they're kind of goofy but they all came with those mushroom style.

 

They might be the only ones with that style, I'm looking around my office and everything has straight sides.
