This is my first ever post here so I apologize if my formatting or my explanations are wonky at best. Currently I own both a TPS-L2 and WM-3 both I've tried to repair but both have ended in the exact situation as each other. I realized that the Idler for both these were both not moving fast enough which had me lifting them off and trying to fix replace the idle tire. It was a tad difficult for me as I didn't really have much knowledge on what to do. There weren't really many videos or guides on how to replace these, but I thought it was going to be as simple as just putting something like lubrication on the area, replacing the old idle tire rubber, and refitting it back into place. However anytime I did this, it would either not move in the slightest, move for half a rotation and stop. That or the worse of it all, move but when putting a tape in, it wouldn't be strong enough and it would stop moving. Materials I used for when replacing this were: Super Lube Silicone Lubricating Grease Precision Tweezers Isopropyl Alcohol (I only used this to clean the overall area or when it wouldn't move I would clean it and try again) Small Idle Tire from FixYourAudio If I need to show to like images or more of an explanation, I would kindly do so. It's a little hard to explain my situation. Replacing this idle tire has been the bane of my existence it just won't move! I just want to listen to my Eminem cassettes...
