So I'm back, with all my best wishes for this new year to the Stereo2go community and with a cool WM-60 (dual jack, metal case, equalizer)

I bought this new one to listen music with my girlfriend...

Good state, new belt, cleaned (the walkman not the girlfriend), Everything seems in good state, light On, motor works very well, all mechanical fonctions :Ok
    But no sound! :(

I can ear a faint hiss on both jack output when I press Play button (doesn't change with a tape or not) . A gentle and constant hiss with no glitch or buzz. The hiss grows very very slightly when I increase the volume... Nothing else, I tried to check if the hiss could have been chang by manipulating the Equalizer but I noticed nothing.

    Any idea?

I'm used to repair electric and mechanical walkman parts, less electronic ones. But I'm very motivated.

    Thank you by advance

Hello, I finally found the cause of this wm-60 issue after several tests:

I had to do this repair and everything went fine.

    Hope it can help!
    Cheers
