Hi, my name is Franky and I'm in a bit of a pickle. I am working on my first ever Walkman (the WM-FX43) and struggling more with this project than anything prior. Everything I play on it sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks, and adjusting the speed pot doesn’t seem to make a noticeable difference. I’ll admit that I’ve mashed up the sensitive plastic with my screwdriver at this point (which is heartbreaking in its own way) but it DOES still turn. I found the exact belt replacement on fixyouraudio.com, routed it correctly, and I do not believe that this is belt-related. Is this thing cooked?
