Yep finally got the last one off my short list. Been waiting over 2 years but it finally paid off. Had to repair a post. I also had to repair the dreaded big problem with these, the drive tire broken plastic spring holder. Also the pause control micro switch needed repair. And of course a complete cleaning inside and out. I just love the motor speed control pot on front of box. I think all boomers should have this. Oh yeah and this baby thumps :-)

Nice one Bill! Seen Docs at the UK meet and it's a mighty looking box, that bass speaker doesn't half bounce too!

Congrats baddbill, what I like most about this box besides the design, are the highs that come from the tweeters.

Good stuff, I found this forum looking for info on mines. I inherited mines from my stepfather who bought his new. It is still in mint condition. I only need to find a power cord for it. Mines still says "SuperWoofer" on the grill though. I remember asking for years if I could have it, and when he passed in in '02. That was the one of several grail item he passed on to me. Nice forum, lots of cool stuff on here.

I really do like the BIGBEN, all versions, such a unique and awesome looking and sounding box.

Be careful to check the voltages on yours and get the right converter if required.
