Yes, they are all from my personal collection. I had been intending to scan them for many years, never got round to it. Stereo 2 go has given me the incentive to do it at last!

I haven’t scanned all the pages from one brochure because I was really only putting out a sample of what I have. I did not want to over do it because this is a boom box and walkman site rather than a HiFi site. However; if you would like me to scan all of it I more than happy to do so. I will scan each brochure as a single .pdf document. Please give me some time though

I saw they have a pretty good descreening. Are you using silverfast for scanning them?

However, looks to me that the image has so much contrast, but as I have not any of those brochures, I cannot say.

I have posted the complete brochures on a new thread (as single .pdf files). The scanner I use is an Epson 300 series. I use the software bundle that came with the scanner. The brochures are not in very good condition and I have made no attempt to enhance them at all. They are just straight scans. They look pretty faithful to the original to me but you could probably bet more out of them with some work. Please feel free to P.M. me.

I think what scanner is that, a basic model. By seeing the scans, I think Epson did improve the descreening algorithm, because years ago they lack detail. I stopped using that software because although good, a bit limited in some areas, so I use Silverfast, which is a hi-end software.

I'll pm you to help you in achieveing better quality in dark and light areas.
